Welcome to TheWarez Community Forums. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read these rules.

Rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.
Newly added rules will be bold and colored red.
Altered/Changed rules will be bold and colored blue.

I. General Rules:

All publicly displayed messages are limited to English only.
Bypassing our word censor is strictly forbidden.
Anti-social, discriminative and unnecessary remarks will not be tolerated.
Spam such as referral links and money-making schemes will result in a Ban.
Mini-modding is not permitted. Use the report function.
Requests must be made in the appropriate sections.
Trades and Purchases are not permitted.
Political or Religious debates are not allowed.
Arguing, swearing, Insulting, and/or criticizing any staff or member will get you an immediate BAN.
Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered.

II. Posting Rules:

Topic titles must have an appropriate description.
All topics must contain a valid description.
Topics must be submitted to the relevant forums. Please read the forum descriptions before posting.
Using redundant information in titles such as "100% Working", "LATEST", "High Quality" and "NEW" etc is not allowed
Do not post/request adult material. This includes Hentai (or other animated adult material) and explicit adult themed games.
Do not post hacking utilities, spammers, or anything used to cause harm (malicious) to others.
You must have at least 10 or more posts in order to start New Topic within Apps, Games and Movies Sections.
You must add Topic attribute in all topic titles within Apps, Games, Movies, Music + their subforums and Request sections. Topic attribute in other forums are optional.
Double posting of the same links or content may lead to a warning.
Excessively replying to your own topics to gain first page exposure is not allowed.
Replies such as:
'Welcome', 'No problem', 'thanks for replies', 'Fresh links added' or similar are only allowed a maximum of 3 times per page.
Forum flooding/Mass posting shall not be allowed and is restricted by the following conditions:
- If a member post new topics that approach 50 or more in a hour and/or the new topics approach or pass the maximum of 100 in a 24 hour period then this will be considered Forum flooding and the account will be Banned.
- The use of multiple duplicate accounts to try to get around this restriction will result in immediate banning of all associated accounts.
Asking for mirrors on an existing thread is not allowed, either search or post a request in the request section.
Keep font sizes relatively small and easy to read.
Images must be hosted on public image hosting websites. (See the list of public image hosting websites in the link below)

III. Spam Rules:

You may only promote your website once. This may be done in the Useful Sites section and only applies to sites that are within the rules.
If you choose to post a link it should benefit everyone and must not be a site of the following categories:
Web hosting. Referrals. Affiliation. Warez forums. Sites that require registration, subscription or a fee to access. Links within posts that links to non-allowed 3rd party in order to gain access to the content (eg. Link protectors, Text files, Altered links, Links directory...). To clarify, we only allow either direct links to content or use of allowed 3rd party services listed below:
- Safelinking.net
- Keeplinks.me
- Anonym.to
Passwords in topics that advertise other sites are allowed provided that they are required. If the passwords are not required the poster will be punished as a spamming member.
Excessive posting of similar messages to increase post count is not allowed.

IV. Warnings and Bannings:

Offenses which break our rules may earn you a warning or a direct Ban.
If you receive 3 warnings, this will result in an instant Ban. This does not mean that you have to have a warning to get banned, moderators may ban you without warnings depending on the offense.
*Each warning will expire in 30 days

If you believe you do not deserve the warning please contact the moderator who warned you. Talking back to the moderator who gave you the warning with no sense of respect will lead to further warnings.
If you do not know why you received a warning, an email and private message would have been sent to notify you of the reason why you were warned and who warned you.

V. Avatar, Signature and PM Rules:

All above rules apply to PM's, avatars and Signatures
It is the responsibility of each member to check their private messages when online, as certain private messages from staff members may require prompt answers. Members who ignore these messages from staff may be warned, locked or banned, depending on the situation.
In order to use Avatar, Signature and PM functions you must have at least 10 or more posts.
The total maximum dimensions for images/text in a signature is 700px (width) by 250px (height) horizontally only.
Avatars can only be 30KB or less in total file size.
Signatures can only be 125KB or less in total file size.
